Types of Sponsorships

Child Sponsorship

The outreach ministries of Kingdom Initiatives have established kindergartens for the children in their respective communities. While their "classrooms" are rustic - some meeting outside under trees and some in makeshift structures - these kindergartens provide a solid foundation for the children's educational journey as well as two snacks and lunch each school day. Classes are held three days each week in the following communities, pictured at right - Danoa (upper left), Louguiledouo (upper right), Naimouin (lower left), And Tantama (lower right). The sponsorship fee is $20/month.

Boys and Girls Home Sponsorships

In the more rural areas of Côte d'Ivoire, such as the areas where Kingdom Initiatives is serving, there are no schools that offer classes above primary school. If a child does well in school and wants to continue on to secondary education, they must go to a larger city where secondary schooling is offered and attend school there. This is a serious hardship for many students due to lack of housing or someone to host them and care for them. Kingdom Initiatives has established two homes for secondary students - one for boys and one for girls - in the city of Bouna. Students are given a place to live, food to eat, and assistance with their educational needs. The sponsorship fee for these students is $20/month and each student needs two sponsors to cover their total sponsorship. Sponsors may take on one or both of these sponsorship slots.

Missionaries Sponsorship

The missionaries of Kingdom Initiatives are serving in very difficult, often very remote, areas in Northeastern Côte d'Ivoire. Some of them are from other areas of the country while some are from other countries, such as Burkina Faso. So much of their time is spent serving those in need in their communities, they are unable to have a regular job to support them and their families. So their need for support is great. The sponsorship fee for each missionary couple is $50/month, with five sponsors needed to cover their total sponsorship. The sponsorship funds are used to help with housing costs, food, transportation, and other associated living costs.
